How to restore WhatsApp chats

WhatsApp chat history may have been deleted by mistake, or chats may have disappeared due to a glitch in the Android system. The following steps can help restore WhatsApp Android chats.

If you have installed WhatsApp but no previous Google Drive backups are available, WhatsApp will automatically restore the logs from your local backup file.
