Al-Benini, Samson Akinola, striker of the first football team at Zamalek club, told the administrative staff of the possibility of returning to Cairo today, Monday, after completing the passport crisis that prevented him from returning on time.


Zamalek club officials are waiting for Akinola’s return in order to find out the reasons that led to his late arrival on the date specified by the technical staff, before applying the regulations and fining him financially.


The technical staff of Zamalek, led by the Portuguese Josevaldo Ferreira, granted the players a four-day leave, and allowed foreigners to travel to their countries, provided that they return to Cairo to attend training last Monday, but Akinola did not return until today.


Zamalek is preparing to face Al-Masry Al-Port Said, scheduled for November 26, in the quarter-finals of the last edition of the Egypt Cup.


The strike force of the white team is complete with the return of most of the injured and their readiness for the Al-Masry Al-Port Said match, headed by Mahmoud Shikabala, injury in the posterior muscle tendons. He will be absent for A period of at least 4 or 6 months, depending on the response speed of the rehabilitation program designated for the player.
